It is not possible to supervise the flight path nor to provide navigation assistance:
I. To the North of the airfield, within the ATZ, below 2400 ft AMSL;
II. To the South of the airfield, within the ATZ, below 2900 ft AMSL.
Nor will it be possible to provide these services when the radar signal is not available.
ARRIVALS
ACFT bound for Bilbao AD shall contact with TWR over the VFR reporting points: N (Armintza), NE (Bermeo), E (Gernika), S (Llodio) and W (Castro Urdiales) to follow its instructions, after they must proceed from these points to the VFR holding points: N-1 (Mungía), W-1 (Baracaldo) and S-1 (Bilbao town), maintaining 1500 ft MAX AGL.
DEPARTURES
Radio contact shall be established with TWR indicating the VFR point to departure. TWR will give instructions about the procedure to follow.
COMMUNICATIONS FAILURE
ACFT with communications failure shall proceed via communication failure corridor maintaining 1000 ft AGL MAX to join communication failure circuit.
REMARKS
VFR flights intending to operate in the airspace of the TMA BILBAO at an altitude of 3000 ft AMSL or lower shall contact BILBAO TWR, in accordance with the classification of this class D airspace, on the frequency 118.500 MHz.
