MENORCA AD (LEMH).- Pavement works on the apron.
Until 28 November 2025 (estimated), works to resurface the commercial aviation apron of Menorca airport will be underway.
The works will be carried out in four phases. The effective start and end dates of each phase, as well as any operational incidents that may arise, will be announced via the corresponding NOTAM.
All the working areas will be duly marked and lit, caution is recommended due to the presence of workers and machinery in operational hours.
No works will be performed when low visibility procedures are active.
PHASE 1
Upper - North Zone.
Complete reconstruction of the pavement, resurfacing of isolated slabs, repairing damage to slabs and replacement of markings will be carried out.
The works will be carried out in both operational and non-operational hours of the airport.
Operational Impacts:
TWY J closed up to PRKG 5.
PRKG 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 out of service.
PRKG 5A available.
PHASE 2
Lower - North Zone.
Complete reconstruction of the pavement, resurfacing of isolated slabs, repairing damage to slabs and replacement of markings will be carried out.
The works will be carried out in both operational and non-operational hours of the airport.
Operational Impacts:
Closing of TWY E and TWY J from PRKG 4 to PRKG 13.
PRKG 4, 5, 5A, 6, 7, 7A, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 out of service.
PHASE 3
Upper - South Zone.
Repair and reconstruction work will be carried out on isolated slabs, together with the construction of new slabs and the replacement of markings.
The works will be carried out in both operational and non-operational hours of the airport.
Operational Impacts:
TWY J closed from PRKG 10 to PRKG 19.
PRKG 10, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 19 out of service.
PRKG 11 only operational with heading South, exiting the apron via TWY E.
PHASE 4
Lower - South Zone.
Repair and reconstruction work will be carried out on isolated slabs, together with the construction of new slabs and the replacement of markings.
The works will be carried out in both operational and non-operational hours of the airport.
Operational Impacts:
TWY J closed from PRKG 10 to PRKG 19.
PRKG 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21 and 23 out of service.
Helicopter operations must request FOLLOW ME vehicle guidance to PRKG 8 and/or PRKG 10 as the helicopter stands are out of service.
Code letter E-IV aircraft operations will not be accepted.
