AIS ESPAÑA.- Recommendation to flights over Afghanistan.
Until 15 May 2026 (estimated), Spanish air carriers are requested to not fly in KABUL FIR (OAKX) below FL320 due to the potential risk to civil aviation from the existence of non-governmental extremist groups. These groups may attack aviation facilities, carry out direct attacks with rockets or mortars, as well as indirect fire/suicide attacks. Additionally, civil aviation safety is a cause for concern due to the absence/limited capabilities of the Air Traffic Services (ATS) throughout Afghanistan.
