AIS-ESPAÑA.- Military invasion of Ukraine by Russian Federation.
Until 19 March 2027 (estimated), Spanish air carriers, operators having their principal place of business in Spain or performing air services with commercial charter agreements or code sharing with Spanish aircraft registration, not to conduct any flights in FIR DNIPRO (UKDV), FIR SIMFEROPOL (UKFV), FIR LVIV (UKLV), FIR ODESA (UKOV), FIR KYIV (UKBV), FIR MINSK (UMMV), and in the airspace of the Russian Federation west of longitude 60° E, within FIR MOSCOW (UUWV), FIR ROSTOV-NA DONU (URRV), FIR SANKT-PETERSBURG (ULLL), FIR YEKATARINBURG (USSV) y FIR SAMARA (UWWW), due to potential risk to civil aviation from heightened military activity, dedicated anti-aviation weapon and missing civil air traffic coordination, unless the use of that airspace is deemed necessary to ensure safe operations in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Additionally, operators should exercise caution when operating in the whole FIR MOSCOW (UUWV) due to heightened military activity which may include launches of mid-range missiles penetrating into controlled airspace.
Foreign air carriers inbound Spain are advised to avoid BELARUS FIR MINSK (UMMV).
