MENORCA AD (LEMH).- Renewal of the runway edge lighting system.
Until 19 February 2027 (estimated), the runway edge lighting system will be renewed.
The start and end dates, as well as any operational incidents that may arise, will be announced via the corresponding NOTAM.
The work areas will be duly marked and lit.
No works will be performed when low visibility procedures are active.
No works shall be performed on electrical installations when the maximum storm alert for electrical equipment is activated. The works in the manoeuvring area shall be carried out during non-operational hours.
Operational Restrictions
Use of both halogen and LED technologies in the runway edge lighting system, for approximately two weeks, with possible difference in perceptibility and brightness for crews.
During non-operational hours, in case of evacuation, the runway edge lighting system shall be downgraded to 50% for the duration of the works.
