MADRID/ Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas AD (LEMD).- New Ramp 24 and associated taxiways.

Until 12 June 2026 (estimated), works to commission a new remote parking apron in the T-4S zone (Ramp 24) will be underway. There will be a total of 18 new parking stands and two apron taxiways (EF and EH); a new TWY Q3 parallel to TWY A25 and two new apron access gates (GATE 15 and GATE 16) will also be commissioned.

The works will be carried out mainly without affecting the manoeuvring area; any operational incidents will be published via NOTAM.

The works shall not be carried out when LVP are in force.

The works shall be carried out 24H.

All work activities shall be duly marked and lit with daytime and night-time lighting.

Caution is recommended due to the presence of personnel and machinery.

FINAL CONFIGURATION STATUS OF THE SUPPLEMENT

New infrastructures:

• New PRKG 700 to 722 (see table of aircraft stands characteristics).

• New access TWY EF to PRKG.

• New exit TWY EH to PRKG.

• New GATE 15 and GATE 16 for communication between TWY A and EH/EF.

• New TWY Q3 (parallel to TWY A25).

Operations:

• For ground movement control GMC E-SOUTH will be included in the control zone.

• PRKG 700 to 722: operations not permitted from SUNSET TO SUNRISE.

• Low Visibility Procedures (LVP):

Operations not permitted with LVP in force on Apron T4S or visibility lower than or equal to 400 m at transmissometer located at THR 14R.
