Until 20 February 2026 (estimated), the configuration of the civil apron at Albacete Airport will be modified to accommodate a temporary facility serving as a hangar.
As a consequence, the current centre lines for the stand access taxiways and the markings delimiting those stands will no longer be usable. In their place, aircraft should be guided by the provisional markings to be provided for the purpose, which will delimit the locations of the new provisional stands: A1, A2, A3, A4, B and C.
Code letter B and higher aircraft (wingspan of 15 m or more) should request guidance from TWR before entering the civil apron. For aircraft of smaller wingspan, guidance will be available by prior request to TWR and it will be mandatory whenever there is a code letter B or C aircraft parked on the apron.
During entry and exit manoeuvres for the provisional stands, aircraft must apply the minimum power necessary and shall halt if any potential danger is detected during the manoeuvre, requesting the attendance of airport personnel.
The principal characteristics and incompatibilities among the new provisional stands are the following:

The dates on which this provisional operation for the civil apron will be in effect, as well as any operational incident, will be published by NOTAM.
During the time when the provisional hangar is installed, the closure of the current stands on the civil apron and the marking of the new provisional stands will take place. As these are provisional actions it is not possible to adapt the markings completely.
Operational restrictions: Reduction of the available parking apron. Cancellation of PRKG 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 2A, 2B, 3, 4, 5 and 6, and the corresponding marking.
During operations of aircraft entering the hangar, no other aircraft will be permitted to move on that apron.
