BILBAO AD (LEBB).- Replacement works on passenger boarding bridges on the north apron.
Until 26 November 2027 (estimated), works will be carried out for the replacement of passenger boarding bridges and associated equipment on the north apron of Bilbao Airport. Works will affect Aircraft stands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6/6A.
Works will not be conducted simultaneously on more than two stands at any one time.
The work areas will be appropriately marked and barricaded. Caution is advised due to the presence of personnel and construction machinery.
The start and end dates of each phase, together with any operational impact, will be promulgated by the corresponding NOTAM.
The phases do not necessarily have to be carried out in the order described below. Phases may be performed concurrently, except for phases 5 and 6.
PHASE 1. PRKG 1
The works will consist of the modification of the stand island, replacement of the passenger boarding bridge, replacement of the visual docking guidance system, replacement of the aircraft air-conditioning unit, replacement of the handling service distribution cabinet (CBTH), reinstatement of the existing 400 Hz converter, and amendment of markings/signage to suit the characteristics of the new passenger boarding bridge.
Schedule
- Works will be carried out during both airport operational and non-operational hours.
Operational restrictions
- PRKG 1 closed.
Upon completion of this phase, PRKG 1 will be returned to service with the following characteristics:
