MENORCA AD (LEMH).- Upgrading of inspection chambers on the airfield.

Until 01 October 2027 (estimated), elevated inspection chambers of visual aid, that are considered to pose an obstacle, will be replaced with boxes that are level with the ground at Menorca Airport.

The works will be carried out during non-operational hours, with the presence of machinery and workers on the runway. During operational hours, the runway shall be usable and flight crews may occasionally find a light switched off in the runway centre line, runway edge, runway threshold, and runway end lighting systems, without considering the system downgraded or out of service at any time during the works.

No work shall be performed when low visibility procedures are in force or when the maximum alert for storm with electrical activity is activated.

The start and end dates of the works, as well as any operational incidents that may arise, will be announced via NOTAM.
