TENERIFE NORTE/Ciudad de La Laguna AD (GCXO).- Replacement works of the ILS/DME RWY 30 “ITF”.

Until 07 August 2026 (estimated), works related to the replacement of the ILS/DME RWY 30 “ITF” will be underway.

The works will be carried out in two phases. The works described for each phase and zone will not necessarily be executed simultaneously, rather they will be scheduled based on the operations affected.

The start and end dates of each phase, as well as any operational incidents that may arise, will be announced via the corresponding NOTAM.

All work areas will be duly marked and lit.

Phase 1: Preliminary stockpiling and stakeout

The works to be performed in this stage will mainly consist of:

-          Stockpiling of material in areas close to the sheds of GP RWY 30 and LOC RWY 30.

-          Stakeout and topographical works prior to disconnection.

No operational impact on ILS/DME.

Phase 2: Disconnection of ILS/DME RWY 30

The actions will be performed with the ILS/DME RWY 30 (LOC and GP/DME RWY 30) system completely out of service.

Works in this phase will consist of:

-          The presence of workers and machinery in the zone and critical areas of GP/DME RWY 30 and LOC RWY 30.

-          Stockpiling of material in areas close to the sheds of GP RWY 30 and LOC RWY 30.

The following instrument approach procedures will not be usable (U/S):

-          IAC/6 – ILS Z RWY30

-          IAC/7 – ILS Y RWY30

-          IAC/8 – LOC RWY 30

Other procedures are not affected by the works.
