MADRID/Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas AD (LEMD).- Resurfacing on taxiways A14, AZ2, and S2.
Until 22 January 2027 (estimated), works for pavement rehabilitation will be carried out on taxiways A14, AZ2 and S2.
Works will be carried out in 1 phase. Start and end dates, as well as any operational impact, will be published via the corresponding NOTAM.
Working areas will be properly marked with day and night lighting and will remain closed to traffic on a continuous schedule H24 .
Standard taxiing routes may be affected; therefore, ATC instructions must be followed in the vicinity of the working areas.
Caution is advised due to the presence of personnel and machinery. Aircraft must taxi at minimum powe r in diversion areas to avoid jet blast impact in zones with active personnel.
PHASE 1: WORKS ON TWY A14
Operational restrictions :
TWY A14, A17, S2 and AZ2: closed.
TWY M13, M14, M15, M16, M17 and M18: bidirectional taxiing.
TWY M14, M15, M16 and M17: taxiing not permitted for code letter F aircraft.
Turns from TWY M16 to AZ3 and from TWY M16 to R7: not permitted for code letter E aircraft.
Turn from TWY H2 to A13: not permitted for aircraft types B743, A343 and A342.
Temporary bidirectional lights will be installed at TWY LA–A12 and TWY M18–MD–A19 intersections.
