MENORCA AD (LEMH).- Renovation of the engine generator control system.

Until 20 March 2026 (estimated), works to renew the engine generator control system will be underway.

In the event of failure of the primary power source, Menorca Airport is unable to guarantee a maximum (light) switch-over time  of 15 seconds in all lighting systems. This includes the approach systems of both thresholds, PAPIs, obstruction lighting, taxiway centre line lighting and apron lighting, which will remain inoperative for an estimated maximum of 15 minutes in the event of a failure of the primary power source. Should this inoperability occur, it will be announced via ATIS.

Critical lighting systems will not be affected. The maximum (light) switch-over time for these systems shall remain 1 second.

The effective start and end dates of the works will be announced via the corresponding NOTAM.
