PAMPLONA AD (LEPP).- Works to extend Strip. 

Until 15 May 2026 (estimated), works will be conducted to extend the western strip of RWY 15/33, as well as levelling, construction of pipe banks and replacement of affected services.

The works will be carried out in 3 phases. The start and end dates, as well as any operational impacts, will be announced via the corresponding NOTAM.

The works shall be duly marked with night-time and daytime lighting.

Normal aircraft operations will not be affected.

PHASE 0: IMPLEMENTATION, STAKEOUT AND DATA COLLECTION WORKS

Location:Western strip of RWY 15/33.

Actions:

• Topographic data collection.

• Geotechnical engineering.

• Data collection.

Estimated duration: 3 months.

Schedule: 24H. The works will be adapted to the traffic at all times.

Operational restrictions:

Works with operational impact will be performed in non-operational windows, in constant contact with TWR with a 5 minute withdrawal response time or outside operational hours.

PHASE 1: WORKS ON RUNWAY STRIP

Location: Levelled strip west of RWY 15/33 and RFFS apron.

Actions:

• Levelling of strip.

• Compliance of manholes and other affected elements.

• Civil engineering works.

• RFFS apron drainage compliance.

Estimated duration: 7 months.

Schedule: 24H. The work schedule will be adapted in order to minimise impact on the airport's operations.

Night-time schedule: non-operational from 2345 to 0600 LT, to be published via NOTAM This schedule may be changed according to the airport’s operational needs. The inability to operate organ transport flights will be published via a specific NOTAM.

Daytime schedule: 0630 to 2345 LT, to be published via NOTAM during non-operational windows in constant contact with TWR.

Operational restrictions:

Works with operational impact will be performed outside operational hours or in non-operational windows with a 5-minute withdrawal response time.

PHASE 2: WORKS OUTSIDE THE LEVELLED STRIP

Location: Western zone of RWY 15/33, outside the runway levelled strip.

Actions:

• Earthworks in the non-levelled strip.

• Compliance of manholes and other affected elements.

Estimated duration: 7 months.

Schedule: 24H, to be published via NOTAM.
