AIS ESPAÑA.- Recommendation to flights over Afghanistan.

Until 11 June 2027 (estimated), Spanish air carriers are strongly recommended to not operate flights in KABUL FIR (OAKX) below FL320 due to the potential risk to civil aviation from the existence of non-governmental extremist groups. These groups may attack aviation facilities, carry out direct attacks with rockets or mortars, as well as indirect fire/suicide attacks. Additionally, civil aviation safety is a cause for concern due to the absence/limited capabilities of Air Traffic Services (ATS) throughout Afghanistan. In case of overflights above FL320, it is recommended to exercise extreme caution and implement contingency plans.
