LANZAROTE/César Manrique Lanzarote AD (GCRR).- Apron expansion phase 1 North Zone.
Until 06 August 2027 (estimated), works will be carried out on the commercial and General Aviation aprons and on the islet bounded by RWY 03-21 and TWY E2, E3 and R2 to R4-2.
The activities included in these works will be carried out in three phases, affecting the manoeuvring area zones that are listed in this document.
The start and end dates of each phase, as well as any operational incidents that may arise, will be announced via the corresponding NOTAM.
The phases may not necessarily be executed in the order given in this document, and several phases may be activated simultaneously.
The works will be carried out in both operational and non-operational hours, depending on the phase and the location of the works in each case.
All work areas shall be duly marked and lit. Caution is recommended in the areas close to the works due to the presence of workers and machinery which may, in exceptional cases, generate FOD in the manoeuvring area.
Taxiing must be accomplished at minimum power on taxiways near the areas where workers are present in order to avoid the impact of jet efflux.
In the event of an evacuation at night, the workers and machinery will be withdrawn to a safe area outside the manoeuvring area.
At the end of each working day, checks will be conducted to ensure that the areas affected by the works are cleared prior to being declared operational.
PHASE 1. WORKS ON THE GENERAL AVIATION APRON, TWY AG AND PRKG 15 AND 15H
Compliance and expansion of the General Aviation (AG) apron, and resurfacing of TWY AG and PRKG15and 15H.
The following provisional parking stands for general aviation are set up at PRKG 13A, 13B and 13C (Sub-phase 1.1): Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4. When exiting these parking stands, the aircraft must be towed.
SUB-PHASE 1.1. MARKING OF PRKG 13A, 13B AND 13C
Description of actions:
Works for the provisional marking of four parking stands for code letter A aircraft at PRKG 13A, 13B and 13C.

PRKG 13A, 13B and 13C out of service.
SUB-PHASE 1.2. WORKS ON COMMERCIAL AND GENERAL AVIATION APRONS WITH IMPACT ON TWY A AND PRKG 14, 15 AND 15H

The General Aviation apron will remain closed to traffic during the entire period of the works (the duration of this period will be published via NOTAM).

PRKG closed: PRKG 14, 15 and 15H out of service.
Restrictions on taxiways: impact on TWY A (apron access taxiway) operations, with its use limited to code letter D aircraft.
Caution must be exercised when entering the apron via GATE A due to the 0.58 m high side step and the impact of jet efflux on work areas. Due to the scope of the works, the markings of the work area will be located just within the clearway for code letter D aircraft, approximately 36 metres from the TWY centreline. Aircraft shall taxi at low speeds with the guidance of a "FOLLOW ME" vehicle.
Impact on night-time evacuation flights (during non-operational hours or after the last operation): in addition to the SUP, a local notice will be issued stating that PRKG 15 and 15H is out of service and that the taxiway to Apron A and the inner apron taxiway up to PRKG 13 are closed.
SUB-PHASE 1.3. INSTALLATION OF NEW FUEL PUMPS

SUB-PHASE 1.4. WORKS ON EAST ZONE OF GENERAL AVIATION APRON

SUB-PHASE 1.7. WORKS FOR THE MARKING OF PRKG 13

Removing the provisional parking stand markings for code letter A aircraft at PRKG 13.

PRKG 13 out of service while the works are underway.
PHASE 2. WORKS ON PRKG T6
Work to replace the flexible paving on the northern strip of of PRKG T6 without changing its current layout.

Operational Restrictions:
Parking stands closed: PRKG T6 out of service.
Restrictions on taxiing routes: caution must be exercised when taxiing on the taxiway leading to the parking stands in front of Terminal T1, as works on PRKG T6 are underway.
PHASE 3. DRAINAGE WORKS BETWEEN TWY AND RWY 03-21
Construction of new drainage network, on the islet bounded by RWY 03-21 and TWY E2, E3 and R2 to R4-2.
Schedule:
The works will be carried out at night time (non-operational hours or after the last operation).
Operational Restrictions:
1 - 4 metre high side step on the strip of the TWY section between R2 and R4-2.
Operations by aircraft exceeding the aerodrome’s certified design specifications shall not be cleared.
TWY R2 and TWY R3 downgraded to code letter C aircraft. When taxiing inside the apron, code letter D aircraft will be guided by the Runway and Apron Service (SPP in Spanish), accessing via the entry and exit gates A and C.
Code letter D aircraft towed on TWY section from C to R4/R4-1.
PRKG 23 restricted to code letter C aircraft (maximum).
