AIS-ESPAÑA.- Temporary reserved airspace (TRA) for the “Festa al Cel” air show.

Between 18 and 20 September 2026, the “Festa al Cel” air show will be held, for which a temporary reserved airspace has been requested for the aircraft scheduled to perform at the air show.

The requested airspace will be a temporary reserved airspace (TRA) in Class D airspace, although flights by State security forces, emergency corps, and other aircraft specifically authorised by the event organisers, will also be permitted with prior ATC clearance.

This temporary reserved airspace will consist of two volumes with different upper altitude limits, depending on the aircraft performing in the air show.

Both the period as well as other possible details regarding this reserved airspace will be published via NOTAM sufficiently in advance.

Airspace definition:

The TRA is divided into three volumes, which are located within are located within the Reus CTR (Zone 1) and the Barcelona TMA:

ZONE 1: SFC - 4000 ft AMSL MAX:

Modifications to instrument procedures at Reus and Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airports.

Although the TRA is located in Class D airspace, the following instrument flight procedures at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat and Reus airports are temporarily amended to improve operations in the area.

The following approach procedures shall be temporarily modified:

LEBL - SID 7 RWY 20 - SENIA2J: Only usable with ATC clearance

LEBL - SID 9 RWY 24L - SENIA7Q: Only usable with ATC clearance

LEBL - SID 11 RWY 24R - SENIA4P: Only usable with ATC clearance

LEBL - STAR 2 RWY 06L/06R - Holding at RES: Only usable with ATC clearance

LEBL - STAR 2 RWY 06L/06R - MATEX3Y, MARTA3Y, LOBAR1E, GRAUS1E, CASPE3E: Only usable with ATC clearance

LEBL - STAR 3 RWY 24L/24R - CASPE3Z, MARTA3Z, MATEX3Z: Only usable with ATC clearance

LEBL - STAR 3 RWY 24L/24R - Holding at VLA: Only usable with ATC clearance.

LERS - SID 3 RWY 25 - EBROX1V, GARBI1V not usable. Other departures only usable with ATC clearance

LERS - SID 4 RWY 25: Only usable with ATC clearance

LERS - STAR 1 RWY 07 - VIBOK1L, DUQQI1L not usable

LERS - IAC 2 RNP Z RWY 07 (LPV ONLY): Only usable with ATC clearance. A minimum climb gradient of 5% in missed approach is required.

If unable to achieve this gradient, notify ATC as soon as possible. Circling approach not usable for CAT D.

LERS - IAC 3 RNP Y RWY 07 (LNAV): Only usable with ATC clearance. A minimum climb gradient of 4.5% in missed approach is required. If unable to achieve this gradient, notify ATC as soon as possible. Circling approach not usable for CAT D.

LERS - IAC 3 RNP Y RWY 07 (LNAV/VNAV): Only usable with ATC clearance. A minimum climb gradient of 5% in missed approach is required.

If unable to achieve this gradient, notify ATC as soon as possible. Circling approach not usable for CAT D.

LERS - IAC 4 ILS Z RWY 25: Initial section from IAF RES or circling approach for CAT D not usable. For approach from IAF VLA, a minimum climb gradient of 5% in missed approach is required. If unable to achieve this gradient, notify ATC as soon as possible.

LERS - IAC 5 ILS Y RWY 25: Not usable.

LERS - IAC 6 LOC Z RWY 25: Initial section from IAF RES or circling approach for CAT D not usable. For approach from IAF VLA, a minimum climb gradient, notify ATC as soon as possible.

LERS - IAC 7 LOC Y RWY 25: Not usable

LERS - IAC 8 VOR RWY 25: Not usable

LERS - IAC 9 NDB: Not usable

For reasons of public safety, other reserved airspaces may be established in relation to this air show, which will be published via NOTAM as applicable.
