-
Except for rescue and fire fighting vehicles on the accomplishment of their specific missions, all surface movements of aircraft, towed aircraft, personnel and vehicles in the movement area are subject to Apron Safety Guidelines.
-
Collision avoidance with other aircraft or obstacles is the responsibility of:
-
pilots, when taxiing, entering and exiting the stand.
-
handling companies during push-back manoeuvre.
-
-
Due to the civil capacity of parking, the general aviation, school, air taxi and photographic flights which are not based in Murcia/San Javier AD shall request an airport slot before submitting a flight plan. The request must include the following information: estimated date and time of arrival and departure AD; date and time of departure and destination AD; aircraft type.
The request must be submitted in the Operation Office of Murcia/San Javier via
- FAX: +34-968 172 030 or
- via E-mail: cecoamurcia@aena.es
GROUND MOVEMENT
- Towed push-back manoeuvres are compulsory in the PRKG 1 to 11, except for the PRKG 9B, 10B, 11B, 12, 13 and 14 in which their autonomous exit will be carried out using the minimum start-up engine power, idle regime.
- Unless TWR advises otherwise, the exit manoeuvres of PRKG 4 to 8 manoeuvres will be always carried out nosing to the start of the runway in use.
- Exit from PRKG 7 for code letter A aircraft, will be carried out by the crew, on foot pushing the aircraft to the taxiway and notifying TWR of its intention to begin the propelled taxiing to the runway in use.

-
For entering stand apron, aircraft will wait for the "FOLLOW ME" vehicle.
-
Taxiing on the apron and the stand will always be carried out with the "FOLLOW ME" vehicle.
Departure aircraft.
Start-up of engines/turbines and push-back manoeuvres.
-
Pilots will request clearance to start-up engines/turbines from TWR on the appropriate of Murcia GMC frequency.
-
On requesting engine start-up clearance from TWR, pilots will report the complete aircraft call sign and stand occupied.
-
Push-back manoeuvres and engine start-up, must be ready in less than 10 minutes from TWR clearance.
-
Clearances will be issued as soon as requested. When delays are expected to exceed 15 minutes ATC will report to hold position and will provide the appropriate engine start-up and towed push-back time.
-
The time between the end of push-back manoeuvre and the beginning of taxiing must be 2 minutes maximum. After this period and if any problem or failure should exist preventing the taxiing, pilots must report this to TWR and will request the handling agent to tow the aircraft to a stand in order to vacate the taxiway on the apron.
-
For safety reasons, push-back from adjacent PRKG will not be cleared at the same time.
Restrictions.
-
The aircraft located in PRKG 1 will always carry out the push-back manoeuvre in a straight line and following the horizontal marks to tow for push-back tractor. When in this parking position the manoeuvre is starting or will shortly star no exit or push-back manoeuvres may be conducted in PRKG 2, 3 or 23.
-
Regardless of the runway in use, the aircraft located in PRKG 2 and 3 will always carry out the push-back manoeuvre nosing the RWY 22L. When, in any of the PRKG 2 and 3, the manoeuvre is starting or will shortly star push-back maneouvre from PRKG 1 may not be started.
-
