LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

OPERATIONAL MINIMA

Aircraft taking off, landing and overflying the ATZ in visual flight conditions, must comply with the following AD operational minima:

Cloud ceiling:

  • Aeroplane DEP/ARR: 1500 ft.

  • Helicopters DEP/ARR: 800 ft.

Horizontal visibility:

  • Aeroplane DEP/ARR: 2.5 km.

  • Helicopters DEP/ARR: 500 m.

AD operational minima for SAR aircraft or in emergency are left to aircraft commander’s judgement.

FOREIGN STATE AIRCRAFT

PPR request is mandatory at least 48 hours in advance. When transporting dangerous goods this shall be requested at least three working days in advance.

For use as a teaching aid and for practice during flight school and in visual weather conditions, Armilla Air Base has a system to aid in landing on RWY 36 with the following characteristics:
