Upper and lower airspace divided into two charts: Peninsula and Canarias. These charts are designed for use by aircraft operating under IFR. The area they depict is the entirety fo the airspace assigned to Spain.

These charts show the current aeronautical information and they are updated regularly through amendments. They have been generated from the Insignia database because their large format and scale makes it difficult to obtain them directly from the web.

VFR500 Aeronautical Charts, produced by the ENAIRE Aeronautical Information Division, contain the necessary information for Visual Flight Rules navigation en route

The digital version comprise seven sheets at 1:500,000 scale, including all topographical and aeronautical data required for flight planning and covering the entire territory of Spain. It is available in two formats:

• PDF: Files in PDF format for each one of the VFR charts (sometimes due to its size the chart is divided in more than one file) published in paper format by the Aeronautical Information Division (AIS).
• GeoTiff: In the compressed file (zip) a image file (*.TIF) is provided together with a georeference file (*.TFW)
